Valuation of IP Assets - We advise clients on many significant aspects pertaining to IP valuation utilizing a wide variety of accepted methodologies in the estimation of, for example, arm’s-length royalty rates or the fair market value of a particular IP asset. Our research staff, utilizing proprietary as well as other publicly available resources for royalty rate information across various industries, enables us to render advice on the valuation, licensing, sale and management of IP for clients worldwide.

Royalty and Contract Examinations - We advise clients whether licensees or business partners are in compliance with the financial and economic terms of applicable agreements and royalty reporting procedures. We determine if a licensee is reporting royalties completely and accurately and, most importantly, confirm that a licensor is receiving all of its entitled royalty payments.

Antitrust Services - IP disputes often result in claims involving patent misuse, predatory pricing, tying, attempted monopolization, barriers to entry and unfair competition. We have the ability to provide extensive analysis unique to each of these areas.

R&D Effectiveness Review - We advise companies on economic alternatives for enhancing the effectiveness of their R&D function by evaluating the key processes surrounding it, including intellectual capital management.
